Schools
For those visiting this page for the first time, you will find listed details and words of support from the schools participating on November 28th.
There are now schools participating in the UK, New York, Australia, New Zealand, Nigeria, Ireland and South Africa, with more joining every day.
This is also where you can find out about the central schools initiative.:
To create a heart link between school children and refugee children in Darfur.

At 10am GMT all the participating schools will join over 4000 children in a refugee camp in Darfur who know that at that time they will be being remembered worldwide.
These children are the subject of a film by Native Voice Films called The Lost Children of Darfur:

Messages from the Year 8 students at City Academy:
Jennifer Akite (Year 8)
“Peace means love and friendliness. We all love peace. If peace was in the world everyone would be happy and talking to each other and there would be no war. Lets put our hands together and fight for peace”.
Andre Blighton (Year 8) Peace means no war It holds your heart together So there is no tear No rip in space A chance to live longer And everyone has a space to link No chance to look back Cover your tracks Peace has only one symbol Which some adore Don’t ignore.
Melina Carceliano (Year 8) Peace means love Peace is relaxing, no wars Peace helps us to live and have a family I love my family.
