Wellington Study Group is a New Zealand society affiliated to The Study Society in London.
It is possible to leave behind the endless activity of our bodies and mind and come to the natural still centre of our being, if we give ourselves a few moments of stillness or meditation. This is possible for any of us, regardless of belief or ethnicity, as it is our birthright as human beings.

JUST BE STILL
You are invited…
To take part in a special global day to celebrate what could possibly seem the simplest thing in life – just being still.
We will be opening the Hall at Philosophy House for the day. Come along before or after work. Bring your family; your work colleagues; your friends.
As Shakespeare said, living is a bit like being on a stage.
We all need to go backstage to refresh and revitalise.
Being still for a period each day does that.
It is a source of natural energy.
