Gabriella wrote the song in reaction to the idea of Justthisday and hopes it will encourage others to become part of the movement to celebrate stillness from within. This is what she wrote:
'So often you seek confort and consolation in life, a release from day to day problems, a release from the suffering or pain you can feel on an emotional level.
You seek a solution to endless yearning, we're always searching for something, SOMEthing to make us feel happy, to find that missing piece.
And so often we don't know where to find it, and it is so very frustrating and hence painful, so the cylce continues. But, as i read somewhere today 'the thing thou seekest is already with thee here'.
Just this Day is to remind us of that'
