Reverend Nicholas Holtam of St. Martins says

St. Martins has been a refuge in the middle of a busy city to anyone in need for many years. It is known as the church of the open door.

Hosting a period of stillness in that place celebrates the idea of refuge in both the physical and spiritual sense.

In all our differences it allows us to be at one.
